SuperShuttle
This application and website offer trips to and from the airport. The user can select from a less expensive shared ride or book a non-shared ride. I was brought on because SuperShuttle was having difficulty competing with Uber and Lyft, that had recently started making huge wave in the industry. SuperShuttle was cumbersome and not user friendly. Transdev correctly assumed that if they were going to compete with Uber they needed at a minimum a competitive user experience and to offer TNC services like their competitors. I lead the design effort to not only improve the SuperShuttle ap design for the consumer, but also the driver app, to improve the user experience of the driver as well.
Execucar
Black car service application primarily for B2B use. We I came aboard Execucar was a website only and difficult to use. I was to lead the design effort to create a mobile application, and improve the website user experience. B2B is a huge market for Transdev that had been taking hit from Uber and Lyft. Transdev needed to improve their B2B relationships quickly. Was given a very tight deadline to design this application and website. This coincided with the effort to improve SuperShuttle as well. The end result was a smoother compartmentalized experience.
Driver App
This is the application is used by contract drivers for Transdev. Since the goal was to offer TNC services like Uber and Lyft, it became necessary to update the driver application. As it was an application sent by email, and resembled an early DOS application. It had a poor user experience, and required weeks of training to use it. I was charged with designing an improved driver app, that focused on the user experience and significantly reduce the need for training. The app should be able to teach new drivers all they need to know in a simple tutorial inside the app. The end result was a vastly improved application.
Door To Gate
A new application for use in Sweden. Very similar to the SuperShuttle application. Swedish company Flygbussarna contracted this application to service their program to offer inexpensive rides to and from the Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. A shared ride product was exactly what they needed to fulfill this programs requirements to make traveling between Stockholm and Arlanda much easier. This product was also utilized in Cancún, Mexico to shuttle passengers to and from their Hotels to the airport.
